Horse-riding & Educational Animal Farm
Vacation and valorisation of natural resources
Our intent is to spread an innovative kind of tourism based on the blending of the idea of vacation with the valorisation of natural resources. This is why our goal is to create a multi-functional farm that can offer its adult and younger guests a serene environment where they can relax but also regenerate mind and body by participating in farm work.
Our guests can also approach Western horse riding thanks to our FITETREC-ANTE instructors, Giulia and Luca, who will be most happy to get them in the saddle on Gea and Pippo, our reliable, gentle Haflinger and Quarter horses.
All of the animals in our small petting zoo are stars of our Educational Farm. Our specifically trained tutor offers educational packages for schools as well as for groups of young people, families and elderly citizens, based on an active educational model founded on real life and experience.
Activities available in the farm:
- Educational farm:
The route includes a meeting at the small church of Santa Maria di Laghel (where participants can leave their cars or reach on foot from Arco), where Paola and Giulia will welcome you in the company of their friendly donkeys Pasqualina and Raglio. Together, along a walk of about 500 metres, we will go up towards the farm where visitors, both adults and children, will get to know all the animals that enliven the magical atmosphere of the farm (horses, sheep, cows if they are not on mountain pastures, pigs, rabbits , chickens, geese, ducks). The tutors will be available to answer all questions, satisfy any curiosity, give information on habits and management and encourage direct and responsible contact with tame, sociable animals available to receive cuddles and caresses. Ideal to enjoy with a family or group, this visit will offer you a realistic experience of the rural dimension, spreading knowledge and respect for the animal world, through unusual and engaging activities.
The return to the meeting place must be done independently.
Visits to the farm take place upon reservation (minimum two days in advance) and are aimed at groups of minimum 6 people at a cost of Euro 12 for each participant of any age (entry to the company is exclusively under these conditions for insurance reasons). Upon special request, visits are also carried out for a smaller number of people who will however have to divide the minimum amount of Euro 72 between them.
In case of bad weather the routes are canceled and possibly rescheduled.
Appropriate clothing and suitable shoes are recommended.
- Mini slow trekking with donkeys:
The Laghel 7 Agricultural Farm has been committed for years to enhancing natural resources and respecting the animals cared for on the farm, an authentic environment in which to relax and recover serenity. Donkey trekking is designed precisely from this perspective. The aim of the activity is in fact to teach children, but also adults, the importance of an equal relationship and not of dominance through a walk with donkeys and not on donkeys. Parents will in turn be involved in the organization and management of the route together with the donkeys Pasqualina and Raglio and the children. The festive walk will take place inside the olive grove and the woods along paths immersed in the scents of aromatic herbs with an incomparable view of Lake Garda. The excursion, managed in complete autonomy, will be preceded by a short introductory chat on the management of these sweet animals, during which a map of the places will be provided in which to choose the favorite itineraries.
The activity will be carried out only by reservation (to be booked at least two days in advance), only in the absence of rainfall, with appropriate clothing. We recommend the presence of one adult for every three children (minimum 4 people)
Meeting point: Azienda Agricola Laghel 7
Duration: 1 hour with possibility of extension
Cost: 10 euros per person
